Overview
The Boost eLearning Google Search Training Quick Lessons are skills-based for the training participant who wants to learn the key search techniques as quickly as possible. These skills will enable the user to filter the over 1 Trillion pages that Google has indexed, to be able to find actionable information, giving the knowledge worker a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Each skill is presented in a self-paced format, rapidly imparting the essential techniques needed to effectively use Google for business research. Lessons range in length from 2 to 4 minutes. Training participants can benefit from just a few of the lessons or by taking the entire course which is approximately an hour in length.

Building Block of the Quick Lessons
  1. Benefit-presents several scenarios of how the technique can be applied
  2. Objective- explains the goal of the lesson: to learn the specific skill
  3. Presentation- watch a screen recording of how to implement the skill
  4. Exercises- gives the user the opportunity to practice the skill, with immediate feedback
  5. Summary- reviews the content of the lesson, and offers the user to practice the technique in Google

Dr. Moshinskie's eLearning methodology is currently used by many of the most successful companies in the world including Genentech, Baylor Medical Systems, Siemens and Michelin Tires.
Natasha Bergson-Michelson, Boost eLearning's Google Search Training subject matter expert, holds a Master's from Harvard and a Master's of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. For over ten years, she directed research and training in high-tech public relations and consulting firms, schools, and other institutions. Mrs. Bergson-Michelson has been using Google since it was an experiment hosted on Stanford's website. Her research consultancy and training firm, To The Point Research, increases productivity and efficiency for corporate and non-profit employees, researchers and students.
